This project probably rates as the most interesting project to date. Unfortunately the boat had suffered severe water ingress and had actually sunk. Most likely the sinking was caused by a failed gas locker wall coupled with changes in water levels. So locker repairs were completed. Internally we had to do a complete strip out and 2 skips were needed to put all the waste in. All the ballast was lifted and much work was done on internal steel surfaces to clean, repair and protect before spray foam could be applied. Then it was a ground up fit out. This was to turn the boat into a proper catering facility and to extend trading as 'The Curry Cruiser'. This required ensuring the kitchen would pass food standards requirements - and in due course it got top rating. The facilities now allow the owners to cook from scratch on the boat and to serve customers and also stay aboard. We all highly recommend the food - its delicious!
