Marigold
This is an original Malcolm Braine boat which has a wooden cabin and was in much need of repair and refurbishment. As can often be the case it is not until we start taking things apart we find the true extent of damage and repairs needed. Much tongue-and-groove wood had to be replaced, along with the plywood skin and a new fibreglass covering was added. New wooden handrails were made and fitted. In addition some steel work was needed to reinstate patches of the steel gunnels. New windows were planned and fitted, along with solar panels, and a stove flue. Finally much new paint. All restored ready for next phase of life.
