This boat was in need of significant work to prepare and black the hull, also the owner wanted a full set of hand rails as the main cabin had none at all. Significant areas of corrosion on the hull side in the engine bay had rotted through and were cut out and replaced. One 4' width of base plate over plated. Sections of rubbing strake that had been 'jacked' off the hull side by rust - a result of not being continuously welded around the perimeter - got removed and replaced. This work did reveal holes in the side plate too. The remainder of the hull sides and base plate were stripped and laser cleaned and 3 coats of 2 pack epoxy applied. 6 new anodes, new starter battery and various bits of wiring upgraded. A new lease of life for an older boat was achieved.
